Declaration of accessibility

The Ministry of Education, Children and Youth is committed to making its websites accessible in accordance with the Law of 28 May 2019 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

This accessibility statement applies to the Upbooking website (upbooking.lu).

Compliance status

The Upbooking site (upbooking.lu) is partially compliant with the General Internet Accessibility Guidelines (“Référentiel Général d’Amélioration de l’Accessibilité web”) RGAA version 4.1, owing to the non-compliant features listed in the “Test results” section.

Test results

The compliance audit conducted by Access42 revealed that the site is 65.41 per cent compliant with RGAA version 4.1.

Inaccessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons.

Noncompliant features
  • There is no alternative to the information-bearing image of the logo at the bottom of the page;
  • The decorative image of the logo at the top of the page is taken into account by assistive technologies;
  • The white text on the blue background has insufficient contrast; 
  • The video offers no text-based transcription;
  • The Facebook link at the bottom of the page has no heading;
  • All the page titles are similar;
  • Some pages use tags for presentation purposes (there are many empty paragraphs on different pages); 
  • Language changes in the text are not indicated; 
  • Pages have an irrelevant hierarchy of headings (missing or poorly defined headings);
  • In the mobile version, the language choice form field has no label;
  • The active language is only indicated by the form (in bold);
  • The logo image at the bottom of the page is inserted in CSS and will therefore not be rendered by assistive technologies;
